Finding a supervisor

Finding a prospective supervisor before applying for the programme is essential for a successful application. To find a suitable supervisor, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the research work and ongoing projects on the websites of the institutes. The contact details of the employees also list their fields of research. It is also worth familiarising yourself with the employee data in the Estonian Research Information System.

When contacting a suitable supervisor, attach your CV to the letter and describe the planned research work. If finding a supervisor seems difficult, in some specialties, send your CV and research idea to the head of the speciality, who can advise you on whom to contact.
