A new optional course for students of all levels

A new optional course starts in the Department of Estonian and Comparative Folklore and it can be taken by all PhD and MA, BA students. The course is: Vernacular Religion and Alternative Spirituality: Space, Place and Experience. FLKU.04.120 (3 ECTC). Dr Marion Bowman (The Open University, UK) will give lectures from 15th April to 8th May 2014. The course takes place in Ülikooli 16-214/215.

4) Friday, April 25th at 14.15 (Ülikooli 16 - 214) Spirit of Place and Past: Stonehenge, Avebury and the reuse/rediscovery of ancient sacred sites

5) Tuesday, April 29th at 10.15 (Ülikooli 16 - 214) Mourning and Memorialisation: new patterns and perspectives

6) Tuesday, May 6th at 10.15 (Ülikooli 16 - 214) Creating Sacred Space: reclaiming and reframing place and past

7)Thursday, May 8th at 14.15 (Ülikooli 16 - 215) Rethinking religion through folk, vernacular, and alternative religiosity?
