University of Tartu and EU partners have developed new digital literacy tools to counter disinformation
University of Tartu semioticians Andreas Ventsel and Mari-Liis Madisson, along with Junior Research Fellow in Information Resilience Diana Poudel, have developed tools for enhancing critical digital literacy in cooperation with international partners. The practical materials are designed for use in higher education, schools, companies and organisations to support navigating the digital landscape and countering the spread of disinformation.

This spring semester, the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics offers a Tandem Language Learning course that also welcomes international students and employees who want to learn Estonian.
UT students and staff can take courses on the popular learning platform Coursera
Until October 2022, all UT members can take one free Coursera course. Students can also use it towards the completion of their curriculum if they wish.
